January Slow Food Community Supper
Island Merchant – Hyannis MA 

We have many chefs commited to using local products and supporting Slow Food efforts. To kick off our year it is a collaborative effort –  Joe Dunn, owner/chef of Island Merchant is providing our location. Jerome Watkins, Executive Chef at Lyric is the man at the helm and Chef Paul, owner of The Chocolate Peddler is going to create our dessert. For those who attended the CLASH Farm to Table, you have witnessed what these chefs can create. The crew from Orleans Wine and Spirit have provided a wine pairing (for an additional cost). 
For those non-meat eaters like myself, there is a vegetarian and a vegan version of the menu that will be awesome. Just let them know when you RSVP
A portion of the profits from the dinner are being donated to Slow Food Cape Cod. We will distribute in the community to support our local farmers and assist in making local, fresh food available to all.

TIME: 6:30 PM Till 9P.M.
PRICE: $65.00 per person – cash bar

7:00 pm     Dinner 
First Course: Wild Mushroom bisque with goose liver flan and crispy salsify batons 
Second Course: Sautéed local scallops over chestnut risotto with herb infused oil 
Third Course:Assiette of venison, roasted loin of venison, braised osso bucco of venison over creamy polenta and blueberry ketchup
Fourth Course : Chef Paul’s Surprise Dessert
Vegetarians are welcome
$65 per person, in addition Wines will be offered per course or flight
