We also offer community composting, and our educational efforts this year will focus on reducing food waste. SNAP, WIC and Senior coupons accepted.

Brooks Academy Museum is open during the market. Sponsored by the Harwich Agricultural Commission, Harwich Historical Society, and Cape and Island Farm Bureau.

The Orleans Farmers’ Market is the oldest and largest market on the Cape. 2016 marks the 23rd season for the market. With 40 vending spaces and music you are sure to have a good time and find a large assortment of local products. Since 2012 the market has been accepting WIC/EBT/SNAP and Credit Cards. Ask about our extra bucks program. The market is open every week, rain or shine until 11/21/15. In the case of severe weather we will post the closing on our website and face book page. Many vendors move to the Orleans Winter Market from December to April.

The Osterville Farmers’ Market opens for their 8th season on June 24th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a variety of local specialties from sea and land. Each week, we feature a healthy recipe in conjunction with the Vela Foundation’s “Rooting for Health” initiative. Join us to sample the best of the farmers’ market with recipes prepared by guest chefs each week. Silverbrook Farm, Allen Farm, Oakdale Farm, Treasures By the Sea, Great Cape Baking and more bring the best greens, vegetables, herbs, fruits, flowers, plants, soaps, honey, pasta sauces, mushrooms, olive oils, breads, local juices, sea salt, specialty pastries, and eggs around. Fresh beef and pork round out the selection. For the sweet tooth, don’t miss artisan chocolates, Cape Cod Cookie, and so much more. Held on the grounds of the Osterville Historical Museum, the Osterville Farmers’ Market is proud to support Buy Fresh, Buy Local Cape Cod. There is plenty of free parking, picnic tables, free WiFi, and admission to the boat museum museum is always free on farmers’ market days.
